OBJECTIVE
       

Develop a scalable and easy-to-implement design system that drives consistency, efficiency, and brand alignment across a wide range of applications. 

The system needed to embody Serta Simmons Bedding's established visual identity while providing the internal team with a flexible framework that could be seamlessly applied across multiple projects and deliverables.

We created a comprehensive design system rooted in the brand's core attributes: refined, confident, and modern. By establishing clear visual standards and a cohesive design language, we provided a foundation that ensures consistency while allowing for creative adaptability across channels and formats.





To further elevate the in-store experience, we designed an engaging retail environment for Jordan's Furniture that showcases the premium positioning of the Beautyrest portfolio. Through a balance of modern luxury, impactful visual storytelling, and thoughtful product presentation, the space highlights the advanced support and comfort technologies behind both Beautyrest Black and Harmony. The result is a sophisticated customer journey that strengthens brand perception while helping shoppers confidently navigate the product offering.





Central to the system was the development of an "Own Black" palette—a sophisticated collection of deep black tones, textures, and finishes that reinforces the brand's premium positioning. Clean architectural lines, asymmetrical compositions, and bold visual statements work together to create a confident and contemporary aesthetic that feels both elevated and unmistakably recognizable.



Every design decision was guided by a "less is more" philosophy. Refined materials, thoughtful details, and restrained supporting elements allow the product to remain the focal point of every execution. The result is a luxury-driven design framework that enhances brand recognition, streamlines implementation, and delivers a consistent customer experience across every touchpoint.
